I just copied over the wallet.dat to new version but this seems simpler way. Thanks
Glad you liked the article. Your method is just as valid. The blockchain data doesn’t have to be re-done by renaming the folder. I found it to be the quickest way. Of course, you should always have backups of your wallet.dat, have it encrypted for security, and save the password in a password manager.
Doesn’t installing 1.5.0.7 create a BiblePay folder? I already have both folders in appdata (each with a wallet.dat file)
Only if you are installing from scratch, but if you have previous installation renaming folder is the best.

You probably are on the wrong chain since there was a mandatory upgrade to 1.5.0.7
Do this:
